At first glance, she is probably mistaken as an athlete because of her height and built. She might not be what most of us expect her to be, but this 24-year-old gal is putting the beauty and body given to her in good use by being a professional model since she was a kid.

Lourdes Grace Bundalian Yanong, or simply known as Lou Yanong, entered the modelling industry when she was only seven years old and lent her charm for popular brands of kids apparel. Despite of her boyish demeanor and initial persistent refusal to do it, their supportive mom successfully managed to make her a model.

After six years, she had to stop doing it because she already reached what is called the “awkward stage” or the adolescent phase. This hiatus gave her a leeway to take a rest during weekends and to focus more on her studies, but she still got the hang of modeling, longing to do the things she used to do before. Thus, when an opportunity came in 2012, she grabbed it and found herself back again on the glitz and glamour of the runway at age 15 as a professional model.

Although it’s a widely-known fact that modelling is a completely rigorous and grueling job, but Lou has learned to love it in the long run. This helped her discern and express more of her genuine self and allowed her to show off beautiful pieces as she considers as an outlet to bring art to life.

However, beyond her fit physique and captivating allure, Lou is a loving, cheerful, and hardworking person. Prior to joining Pinoy Big Brother Otso, she juggled being a full-time fourth-year Entrepreneurial Management student in Meridian International College and a part-time ramp model and board member of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines.

With these, her moniker “Rampa Sister of Mandaluyong” is totally perfect for her! Check some of her captured fashion moments which we collated in this gallery.
