MANILA, Philippines – Mars Alba has left Choco Mucho, the PVL team announced Monday in a social media post.

"Your exceptional playmaking and court smarts will remain significant contributions to the team. You’ll always be a Titan," the squad said in its announcement. "Good luck on your next chapter."

Alba, a UAAP champion and Finals MVP with De La Salle University, joined the Flying Titans in early 2024.

The playmaker helped steer Choco Mucho to a silver medal finish at the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference and a near-podium result at the 2024-25 All-Filipino contest.

Alba's departure comes after Choco Mucho drafted Fil-American setter Tia Andaya at the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft, on top of having Deanna Wong and Jem Ferrer as playmakers.
