MANILA, Philippines – Fil-Americans Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, and Tia Andaya will finally wear the national tri-colors with Alas Pilipinas in the upcoming VTV Cup in Vietnam.

Alas Women tactician Jorge de Brito confirmed the list with ABS-CBN News on Monday afternoon.

Van Sickle and Phillips are Petro Gazz's lethal duo in the PVL, having claimed Season MVP and Finals MVP in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.

Andaya, who had just been drafted by Choco Mucho, has a vast international volleyball experience under her belt.

Meanwhile, leading the national team is captain and decorated playmaker Jia de Guzman.

Also included in the lineup are holdovers from the recent AVC Nations Cup 2025 roster Dawn Catindig, Dell Palomata, Eya Laure, Vanie Gandler, Thea Gagate, and Fifi Sharma.

Lams Lamina and Leila Cruz, who were part of the reserve list for the Nations Cup, are also set to play for Alas this time.

Justine Jazareno of Akari will bring energy to the libero rotation, while Mars Alba of Choco Mucho is also poised to join the setter rotation this time.

UAAP stars Alleiah Malaluan and Amie Provido will join fellow then-and-now La Salle stars in the pool, while Maddie Madayag, who last played for the Kurobe AquaFairies in the Japan SV.League, will banner the new-look squad.

They are entering the VTV Cup on a high, riding the momentum of a historic silver at the recently concluded Hanoi-based volleyball slugfest.

Notably missing in this Alas pool are Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, Angel Canino, Shaina Nitura, Jen Nierva and Cla Loresco.
