The Lady Spikers found their way back into the championship stage after they took down University of Santo Tomas, 25-22, 11-25, 25-21, 25-21, during their Season 87 Final 4 faceoff in front of 11,221 fans on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Angel Canino led the charge for La Salle, putting up 19 points, six digs, and five receptions in the win that allowed the Lady Spikers to avenge their Season 86 Final 4 loss to UST a year ago.

Aside from Canino, Amie Provido provided help by putting up 15 markers and four digs, Shevana Laput stood tall with 14 points and two digs, while Alleiah Malaluan finished with nine points, 15 digs, and 10 receptions.

These helped the Taft-based hitters' cause as they can now settle their affair with the Lady Bulldogs, with the two squads previously splitting Finals meetings.
