MANILA, Philippines – After nearly two years of not seeing Premier Volleyball League (PVL) action, Tin Tiamzon is set to return to the taraflex.

Tiamzon will be making her PVL comeback as she joined the undermanned Cignal ahead of the resumption of the league.

She last played with the now-defunct F2 Logistics Cargo Movers before taking a hiatus in 2023 to be with her family in Canada.

For Tiamzon, her joining the rebuilding Cignal was "aligned" to her interests as she seeks to reignite her volleyball career.

"I have always seen Cignal as a very competitive team and I think at this point as well, they are somewhat rebuilding which is aligned to me starting anew with my career," said Tiamzon as she reflected on her return to the pro scene.

Joining the HD Spikers also meant a reunion with fellow De La Salle Lady Spiker, Dawn Macandili-Catindig.

Coach Shaq delos Santos hopes Tiamzon brings her learnings from her UAAP stint with De La Salle University up to the pro ranks in Cignal.

“Sana with Tin on board, matulungan nIya 'yung mga younger players namin. Since her days in La Salle, dami niyang experience in big games, championship games and sana madala niya dito 'yun. Looking forward kami to see ano pa 'yung mabibigay nIya sa 'min since bata pa naman sIya and marami siyang maco-contribute sa 'min sa laro niya,” said Delos Santos.

Tiamzon and company eye a better finish after the HD Spikers concluded their 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at ninth place.
