MANILA -- Criss Cross ace Jude Garcia was crowned on Sunday as the Most Valuable Player of the 2025 Spikers' Turf Open Conference -- the third straight tournament that he has claimed the league's top individual honor.

A former standout for the national beach volleyball team, Garcia finished second in scoring with 200 total points, including 161 attacks, 32 blocks, and seven service aces.

Garcia also ranked second in spiking with a 46.40% success rate, led the league in blocking with 0.70 per set, placed ninth in service (0.15 per set), 10th in digging (1.11 per set), and fourth in receiving with a 48.91% efficiency.

The award offered a measure of consolation for Garcia after Criss Cross again fell short in its championship pursuit, bowing to Cignal HD in the do-or-die Game 3 on Sunday night at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Meanwhile, the Savouge duo of Mark Calado and Shawie Caritativo were named Best Outside Spikers after stellar campaigns that showcased their scoring prowess and all-around impact for the Spin Doctors.

Calado had a breakout season with Savouge after a subpar stint with Cignal last year. He led the league in scoring with 229 points, composed of 208 attacks, 16 blocks, and five aces. He also finished third in spiking with a 46.12% success rate.

Caritativo, on the other hand, secured his second consecutive Best Outside Spiker award after another well-rounded campaign with the Spin Doctors. He ranked sixth in scoring with 135 points, placed sixth in spiking with a 40.58% success rate, finished fifth in service (0.17 per set), and secured the sixth spot in receptions with a 44.35% efficiency.

Steven Rotter of the HD Spikers claimed the Best Opposite Spiker award following an impressive scoring campaign in which he took charge of the HD Spikers' offense.

The 26-year-old Filipino-American spiker was the most efficient scorer this conference with a 48.65% success rate and the best server with a total of 14 aces, averaging 0.31 per set. Rotter was also fourth in scoring with a total of 150 points.
