The pair of PetroGazz Angels stars previously expressed their desire to change their federation from the United States to the PNFV, and this is for them to play for Alas Pilipinas as locals in their upcoming competitions.

However, according to Suzara, the process of transfer has not gotten any significant traction as of press time as the two are yet to submit the required documents by the FIVB.

Suzara, who is also an official of the FIVB, also lamented the chance to have included BVS and Phillips in the set of players whose transfers they approved previously.

Among the requirements that are accepted are barangay certificates, cedula, electric bills, and other proof that they have been living here for the last two years.

Speeding up their submission will not only provide more talent for the National team, said Suzara. It can also be beneficial for the Alas squad which is looking to improve their World Ranking of No.52 at present.

“The sooner, the better, so they can be part of Alas,” he pointed out. “They will have the AVC Nations’ Cup in Vietnam, the Southeast Asian League in Vietnam and Hong Kong, and the Southeast Asian Games.”

Also in consideration for a change in nationality is PLDT star Savi Davison, although the Filipino-Canadian already expressed how playing for Alas is not a priority for her at the moment.
