MANILA, Philippines – Former "Goin’ Bulilit" star Bugoy Cariño on Sunday shared how married life is treating him.

Cariño tied the knot with volleyball player EJ Laure last March 9. They got engaged in September 2023.

"Mas naging open kami sa isa't-isa," said the former child star to ABS-CBN News. "Ang sarap lang sa feeling na married ka na. Kasi sinasabi ng iba, 'pag kinasal ka, parang sakal ka na, 'di ba."

"Pero hindi eh. Parang mas naging open kami, mas naging close kami, tsaka mas naging relax 'yung relationship," he added.

Cariño and Laure were in attendance for Game 5 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals at the Araneta Coliseum. The former Star Magic artist said he's supporting the Gin Kings.
