Creamline, Petro Gazz to represent PH in AVC Women's Champions League

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil" style="width:900px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1740835767394PVL AFC 25 Creamline vs. Petrogazz - Aiza Pontillas-1667.jpg" style="width:900px" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left"><em>Photo from PVL Media Bureau</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA, Philippines – Creamline and Petro Gazz will represent the Philippines in the upcoming AVC Women&#x27;s Champions League, Premier Volleyball League (PVL) president and Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) vice president Ricky Palou announced Saturday at the PhilSports Arena.</p><p>The decision, as explained by Palou, came after the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) called, saying that they needed the teams for the drawing of lots later this month.</p><p>The Philippines became entitled to two home bets by virtue of hosting. And because the Cool Smashers and the Angels were the top two PVL squads after the preliminary round, they were chosen to be the country&#x27;s representatives.</p><p>Originally, it was just the champion of the ongoing 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference which was supposed to take up the national mantle.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/2024/11/4/champions-of-pvl-all-filipino-to-represent-ph-in-avc-champions-league-1530"><strong>READ: Champions of PVL All-Filipino to represent PH in AVC Champions League<br/></strong></a></div><p>&quot;The AVC called us and said they need the teams right away. Kasi magdo-drawing of lots on March 12 so we cannot wait until the end of the tournament,&quot; said Palou.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/3/1/pvl-petro-gazz-kept-galeries-upset-in-mind-in-showdown-vs-capital1-1938"><strong>READ: PVL: Petro Gazz kept Galeries&#x27; upset in mind in showdown vs. Capital1<br/></strong></a></div><p>&quot;We talked to the teams and we said after the (preliminary) round, the top two will represent the Philippines and that’s Creamline and Petro Gazz,&quot; he added.</p><p>Palou shared that the two PVL squads have already agreed: &quot;Yeah, (they accepted).&quot;</p><p>Moreover, all teams are entitled to three imports.
