MANILA, Philippines – Already assured of the second seed before its Premier Volleyball League (PVL) match on Thursday, Petro Gazz went on to dominate Nxled, 25-19, 25-14, 25-17, in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Creamline, although bucking a bit of bumps, went on to secure earlier in the day the top seed by sweeping Galeries, 25-15, 26-24, 25-19, edging the Angels through the superior set win points ratio, although the two squads have same the points with 29.

This means that Petro Gazz will be taking on Capital1, while Creamline gets to battle Nxled in the qualifying round.

The Angels continued their red-hot winning run, extending it to nine and tying the Cool Smashers at 10-1 all thanks to the consistent Brooke Van Sickle and middle blocker MJ Phillips.

Van Sickle, as usual, provided her team with the much-needed offense, listing 17 points anchored mostly on attacks, while Phillips also made her presence felt, registering 14 points on nine attacks, three service aces, and two blocks.

Setter Djanel Cheng made the plays with 14 excellent sets while libero Babylove Barbon did her part with 10 excellent receptions and seven excellent digs.

Lycha Ebon was a silverlining for Ettore Guidetti and company as the Chameleon breached twin-digit mark with 12 points including 11 attacks.
