MANILA, Philippines – Petro Gazz rallied past Galeries, 25-18, 25-18, 25-22, in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

This marked the Brooke Van Sickle-paced squad's eighth straight win, while the Highrisers moved down further to 1-9.

The duo of Myla Pablo and Van Sickle delivered 17 and 15 points to lead the Angels' offense, respectively, while Aiza Maizo-Pontillas added 12 markers. Djanel Cheng orchestrated that offense, listing 14 excellent sets.

Meanwhile, Jho Maraguinot dropped 12 points on 11 attacks to pace the Highrisers.

Both squads still have one last tasks in the preliminary round.

Petro Gazz has a chance to make it nine wins in a row against Nxled, while Galeries takes on Creamline. Both games are slated on Thursday, February 20 at the PhilSports Arena.
