MANILA, Philippines – Creamline is back on the top of the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

The Cool Smashers, banking on the stellar performance of Jema Galanza, drubbed Farm Fresh in straight sets, 25-15, 25-19, 27-25, on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

While the first two sets were dominated by the Cool Smashers, Set 3 went the extra mile as the Foxies refused to surrender and even tasted the lead late in the frame, 22-21.

But the Creamline side regained composure and was back at the driver's seat as Kyle Negrito scored on a drop later on, 25-24.

Farm Fresh's Caitlin Viray fired an off-the-block hit to save match point for her squad at 25-all, but Galanza was there to close out the contest — on a crosscourt kill and an ace — marking Creamline's ninth straight victory in the all-Pinoy tilt.

The pride of Adamson University top-scored for the defending champions, listing 15 points on 12 attacks, two service aces, and a block, while Alyssa Valdez flexed her defensive prowess, registering 12 excellent digs and nine excellent receptions.

Negrito orchestrated the Cool Smashers' firepower as she talled 15 excellent sets.

Viray was sole bright spot for the losing side after she logged 11 points on nine spikes and two blocks.

Creamline seeks its 10th triumph against PLDT this Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, while Farm Fresh's last assignment in the preliminaries is Capital1, set for Thursday at the same Pasig arena.
