MANILA -- Adamson University and Far Eastern University-Diliman secured the final two spots in the UAAP Season 87 High School Boys' Beach Volleyball semifinals, Saturday at Sands SM by the Bay in Pasay City.

The Baby Tamaraws and Baby Falcons clinched crucial victories to advance to the semifinals.

FEU-D's Zedrick Calimlim and Samuel Coronel dominated University of the East's Clarence Gianan and Buenaventura Limpin with a commanding 21-9, 21-11 win.

Meanwhile, Adamson's Brice Malinao and Gian Ygot overpowered Ateneo's Santiago Avila and Kevin Gabia, securing a 21-8, 21-9 victory.

The Baby Tamaraws face a formidable challenge in the semifinals as they go up against the undefeated duo of JM Lagaran and Lance Malinao from University of Santo Tomas at 7 a.m. on Sunday.

UST capped off the elimination round with a flawless 7-0 record.

The Tiger Sans first dismantled De La Salle-Zobel's Mario Roxas and Antonio Papa with a 21-5, 21-X victory, then wrapped up their dominant campaign with a 21-15, 21-12 triumph over Adamson.

On the other hand, the Baby Falcons will battle the National University Nazareth School Bullpups in the other semifinal matchup.

The defending champions Bullpups secured the second seed in the Final Four after taking down FEU-D with a decisive 21-14, 21-8 win.

The winners of the two semifinal matches will face off for the championship later that same day, while the losing teams will compete for the bronze medal.

De La Salle-Zobel finished its season in fifth place with a 3-4 record after staging a come-from-behind 11-21, 23-21, 15-10 victory over UE.

The University of the Philippines Integrated School duo of Terren Villanueva and Marcus Bamba concluded their season in sixth place (2-5) following a 21-10, 21-18 sweep of Ateneo.

The Junior Warriors ended their campaign in seventh place with a 1-6 record, while the Blue Eagles finished at the bottom with a winless 0-7 slate.
