MANILA, Philippines – Creamline superstar Alyssa Valdez reassured fans that she's "feeling so much better" after experiencing pain in her right knee during their match against Cignal on Saturday.

Valdez made a triumphant return this 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after a long layoff. However, this time, she got treatment for the pain in her knee on the Creamline bench--a sight which wasn't exactly an eye-candy for volleyball supporters.

"I'm feeling so much better," Valdez expressed. "Chineck din naman ako ng mga PTs namin, si PT Haree [Jan Rañeses] at PT Jigs [Daguque], and Doc [Raul] Canlas also messaged na. [I'm] doing well."

Valdez, though, said she hopes that it is "nothing serious" as she expressed gratitude to the Creamline coaching staff for attending to her.

"I hope nothing serious din naman 'yung nangyari, I'm just really grateful to my coaches din na kilala na nila ‘yung mga players. Isang tingin lang kay coach Sherwin [Meneses], alam na niya at in-acknowledge niya rin na medyo may hindi ako maayos na nararamdaman," Valdez said.

"Right now, feeling so much better. Hoping na makapahinga and mas maka-recover pa."
