<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1763988645721PVL RC 25 PLDT vs. Cignal - -3969.JPG" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">The PLDT High Speed Hitters. <em>PVL Media Bureau</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATED)</strong> — PLDT has taken the last semifinals berth in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.</p><p>This, as the High Speed Hitters ousted their sister team Cignal via a 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21 triumph in the quarterfinals on Monday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.</p><p>This marks the Rald Ricafort-coached squad&#x27;s third straight semifinals appearance, counting the pre-season tournaments 2025 On Tour and 2025 Invitational.</p><p>They will be battling Zus Coffee for a spot in the championship round.</p><p>Although the High Speed Hitters wrapped up the preliminaries with a loss to Petro Gazz, Ricafort was glad to see his players respond and step up to the challenge to kick off their playoff run.</p><p>PLDT absorbed a setback in the third frame, but it regrouped just in time to thwart Cignal.</p><p>&quot;Ayun nga, full credit to Cignal. Pero ayun nga, na-overcome naman namin,&quot; said Ricafort.</p><p>Ricafort went on to commend his rookie Alleiah Malaluan&#x27;s performance late in Set 4, where she contributed four points.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/11/24/pvl-zus-coffee-clinches-breakthrough-semis-berth-takes-out-capital1-1804"><strong>READ: PVL: Zus Coffee clinches breakthrough semis berth, takes out Capital1</strong></a></div><p>&quot;So, very happy na nakagawa lahat tsaka &#x27;yung din, &#x27;yung pagpasok din ni Alleiah very sakto, gumawa rin siya,&quot; he expressed.</p><p>Savi Davison paved the way to that semifinals berth, stuffing the stat sheet with 21 points on 18 attacks and three blocks, to go with 13 excellent receptions and nine excellent digs.</p><p>She though acknowledged that the Super Spikers slowed her down during this match.</p><p>&quot;I just want to give Cignal the credit because they did slow me down a lot today. It&#x27;s hard to keep the composure when it takes a long time to score.
