The Cool Smashers did not show any rust from the holiday break, tallying their fifth win in as many games after sweeping Capital1, 25-19, 25-19, 25-18, in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Creamline puts its unbeaten streak on the line when it tackles Nxled, slated exactly next week, January 28, at the same Pasig venue. Genesis and company have a chance to bounce back in an earlier game date as they face rising Zus Coffee on January 25.
