PVL Media"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Farm Fresh&#x27;s Trisha Tubu in action in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference. <em>PVL Media</em></span></span></span>MANILA -- Farm Fresh&#x27;s Trisha Tubu continues to show why she is one of the fastest-rising stars in the Premier Volleyball League.</div><p>The former Adamson star led the way last Saturday as the Foxies pulled off a 25-23, 25-21, 25-14 sweep of the favored Akari Chargers for their first win of the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.</p><p>Tubu torched Akari for 21 points, going 18-of-36 on kills on top of three blocks to earn the nod as the third PVL Press Corps Player of the Week presented by Pilipinas Live for the period of November 26 to 30.</p><p>Tubu edged standout Cignal duo Gel Cayuna and Jackie Acuña, resurgent Capital1 winger Heather Guino-o, ZUS Coffee hitter Chinnie Arroyo, Chery Tiggo spiker Cess Robles, and top PLDT star Savi Davison for the weekly plum decided by print and online journalists covering the competition, which is also streamed live and on-demand via Pilipinas Live app and on www.pvl.ph.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2024/11/30/pvl-capital1-farm-fresh-enter-win-column-2230">READ: Capital1, Farm Fresh enter win column in All-Filipino Conference</a></div><p>Tubu deflected the credit for her huge outing to her new coach Benson Bocboc and playmaker Louie Romero, as well as the rest of the Foxies.</p><p>&quot;Super, super proud sa bawa&#x27;t isa kasi tulad ng sabi ni coach sa&#x27;min, hindi isa o dalawa ‘yung gagalaw, kailangan buong team,&quot; Tubu said after the win. &quot;Kaya ayun, nag-work naman, kaya thankful kami kay God kasi nag-work ‘yung plan ni coach, and nagtiwala lang din kami sa sistema and bawa&#x27;t isa.&quot;</p><p>It was Farm Fresh&#x27;s first win against Akari in four games since entering the PVL scene last year to improve to a 1-2 record in this six-month competition organized by Sports Vision.</p><p>&quot;Hopefully, itong win na ito, maging ito ‘yung talagang motivation namin para sa mga next games namin,&quot; added the 24-year-old high-flyer, who has been filling the gaping offensive holes left by recovering spikers Jolina dela Cruz and top veteran recruit Rachel Anne Daquis.</p><p>Farm Fresh looks to keep the fire burning against streaking sister team ZUS Coffee next Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.</p><div></div>
