MANILA, Philippines – PLDT grabbed its third win, gaining solo lead in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

This, as the High Speed Hitters made quick work of Capital1, 25-17, 25-20, 25-17, on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Still at the forefront of PLDT's firepower, Fil-Canadian spiker Savi Davison kept her consistent game, logging 17 points on 16 attacks and a block to go with seven excellent receptions, while captain Kath Arado flexed her defensive prowess, listing 14 excellent digs and seven excellent receptions.

Playmaker Angge Alcantara also had 11 excellent sets.

"Happy na 'yung pinag-usapan, nangyari lahat, na-execute lahat so 'pag ganun naman regardless ng result, happy kami kasi nagawa namin 'yung trabaho namin. So, bonus na lang na nag-straight sets," said coach Rald Ricafort during the postgame press conference.

Meanwhile, Capital1 has yet to break into the winning column, losing all three games by far to start the season.

Heather Guino-o led the losing side still with 10 points, 10 excellent receptions and seven excellent digs.
