MANILA, Philippines – Carlo "The Bull" Bumina-ang has his eyes set on a rematch with an old tormentor as he continues his ascent in the ONE Championship bantamweight MMA division.

Fresh off a first-round TKO win over Mauro Mastromarini at ONE Fight Night 30, Bumina-ang has redemption on his mind. He wants to face #4-ranked bantamweight MMA contender Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu again.

The Mongolian fighter gave Bumina-ang a forgettable debut in the ONE Championship, beating the Team Lakay rising star via submission just before the final buzzer sounded to continue his mastery of Filipino fighters.

With two impressive wins after that loss, "The Bull" now wants a rematch.

"I still have unfinished business with Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu," Bumina-ang said.

"He welcomed me in ONE Championship with a loss, and I want to face him again. But at the end of the day, it's all up to the promotion."

To get there, he must scale the loaded bantamweight MMA division, especially with Baatarkhuu also on an upward trajectory following the Team Tungga fighter’s recent win over #5-ranked Jeremy Pacatiw.

But with two quick victories over the past three months, Bumina-ang believes he's on the right track.

"I think I'm near it already," Bumina-ang said.

"Maybe they give me a fight or two, maybe I'll get there. I'm hoping before the year ends I get to move up and face the top five."

As he progresses, he promises to continue seeking improvements.

"Fans can expect me to keep improving, just keep getting better, a better 'The Bull' with a deeper arsenal in the ring," Bumina-ang said.

"They can expect a better grappler and a better striker moving forward."
