MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Football Federation and a digital bank unveiled their partnership Tuesday, marking the start of a collaboration that aims to champion Filipino talent in the sport.

The PFF has partnered with Gokongwei Group's GoTyme Bank — an alignment seen to boost the grassroots and the senior teams that will represent the Philippines on the international stage.

GoTyme Bank President and CEO Nate Clarke said during the media launch of the tie-up that one of the key initiatives is they will help in the funding of the men's and women's national teams.

GoTyme Bank was officially named as the bank partner of the National Sports Association during the event at the Ortigas Center in Mandaluyong City.

Some of the plans of actions for the partnership include the holding of GoTyme Bank Cup 2025, set for September this year, which will tap national teams from the Philippines, South Africa, Vietnam, and Singapore.

"It's in the works," said GoTyme Bank CO-CEO Abet Tinio. "The target grassroots here are kids ages 5-7 across the country, across different schools. The intent really is to nurture their love for the game."
