Buoyed by a large Filipino contingent at the Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar, Pacio survived a flurry of submission attempts in the opening round, then turned the tables against Brooks in the second. A bevy of unanswered punches forced the referee to put a stop to the fight with just 38 seconds left in the second frame.
