MANILA -- A strong field of around 8,000 participants is expected to join the 2025 Filipina CEO Circle Women's Run PH this March 9 at SM Mall of Asia Complex in celebration of the International Women's Month.

Women's Run PH president Nicole de la Cruz shared the news on Tuesday's Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum as another crowd drawer is expected to participate in the run co-presented by SM Supermalls.

"Last year, we thought we were already ambitious with our 5,000 goal. But this year, we decided to increase the number to 8,000 and we're humbled that all of those slots are already sold out," she said.

The run, which is organized by RUNRIO and Femme Strides, will see a 1K kids dash, as well as 5K, 10K, and a brand new 16K race, with the finishers taking home a special medal.

"We want the women to challenge themselves further and we're just delighted to see that there are really a lot of communities and run clubs who are supporting this endeavor," said de la Cruz.

Aside from the Manila leg, Women's Run PH will also stage an Iloilo leg on July 20 at Festive Walk Iloilo to cater to those running enthusiasts in Visayas and Mindanao.

The 2025 FCC Women's Run PH also has ion as official sports drink, Summit as hydration partner, together with Hey! Salad and major sponsors Marie France, Shell, Smart, Adidas, East West Credit Cards, BPI, AIA, Watsons, Belo, and minor sponsors Buscopan Venus, Lactacyd, Mr. D.I.Y., Gluta-C, and High Sierra.
