MANILA -- Up-and-coming star Jeremy "The Juggernaut" Pacatiw will look to continue his rise in ONE Championship's MMA bantamweight division when he returns to the ring in 2025.

The Filipino fighter will meet Ibrahim Dauev in a three-round bantamweight MMA bout at ONE Fight Night 28 on February 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Pacatiw brings with him extra motivation when he steps into the ring, as he is expecting his first-born child with his wife Marj later this year.

"I'm incredibly excited to step back into the circle this February. This fight is especially meaningful to me because my wife and I are expecting our first child soon," he said.

"Knowing that I'll be fighting not just for myself but for my growing family has given me more motivation than ever."

For Pacatiw, he is eyeing his third straight win and fourth in five fights with ONE Championship. He is hopeful that another victory will not only prove that he is one of the best in the division, but also bring him closer to a rematch with ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio Andrade – the only fighter to deal him a loss in the promotion.

"The Juggernaut" is coming off back-to-back finishes, including a rear-naked choke win over Wang Shuo in 2024 to get his first victory under the Lions Nation MMA banner.

That performance against Wang proved his growing confidence on the ground, with his submission skill set on full display in his fourth outing in ONE.

"I want to secure this win and make it a moment we'll always remember," he said. "I'm coming in stronger, more focused, and ready to give it my all. This will be a fight to remember!"
