Filipina tennis star Alex Eala has bowed out of the W100 Bengaluru in India.

This, after she suffered an upset loss to lower-ranked Dalila Jakupovic on Thursday.

The Slovenia-based athlete, ranked 231 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), defeated the World No. 136 Eala with scores of 4-6, 4-6.

Jakupovic, 33, turned pro in 2008 and reached a career-high WTA Ranking of 69 for singles and 38 for doubles.

Eala will head to Singapore this weekend for another WTA tournament.
