PFF/PMNFT</div>MANILA -- The Philippines will learn from the heartbreaking end to their campaign in the 2024 ASEAN Championship and come back stronger, vowed head coach Albert Capellas.A 2-1 advantage after the first leg of the semifinals wasn&#x27;t enough, as the Filipinos were beaten 3-1 by holders Thailand after extra time in the second leg on Monday night at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.The manner of their defeat was painful: the Filipinos forced extra time thanks to a stunning Bjørn Kristensen strike in the 84th minute. We have to develop youth football. We need to invest ... We will work very hard to make it happen.&quot;The Philippines was seeking a first-ever Finals appearance in the ASEAN Championship; Thailand, for its part, is still on track for a third straight title.They will play Vietnam in the two-legged final that starts on January 2.
