MANILA -- All-Filipino squad Team Secret is off to a rough start in their VCT Pacific Stage 1 campaign after losing to Talon in their opening match via reverse sweep, 1-2.

The Adobo Gang failed to exact revenge against the Flight Club after being denied a ticket to the VALORANT Champions stage in 2024 despite a winning streak in Stage 2.

Secret started strong in their map pick Pearl, allowing the newly minted all-Thai roster only five rounds and keeping them winless in the second half to conclude with a 13-5 scoreline.

Talon then returned the favor in Fracture, keeping Secret at bay with only 2 rounds for the whole map and concluding at 2-13.

Haven looked to be Secret's series to take after ending the first half at 8-4, but Talon rallied back by overtaking the Pinoy squad in the 17th round and never looked back to complete the series reverse sweep at 9-13.

Secret will look to bounce back from the loss as they see action again against ZETA Division at the end of the week, March 29.
