MANILA (UPDATED) -- India-based organization Global Esports has completed their rebuilt VALORANT roster, with Filipino duelist Mark "patrickWHO" Musni announcing his visa approval to go to South Korea.

In a video post in GE's X (formerly Twitter) page, patrickWHO proudly showed his passport after previously being denied a visa last November 2024.

"I have news about my visa. It is unfortunate for the other teams that I got it. See you in Seoul for Stage 1. GE winning," says patrickWHO.

During an exclusive interview of GE with ABS-CBN News last January, patrickWHO cited missing bank documents as a reason for his visa denial. He had to wait three more months to reapply.

patrickWHO is part of GE's overhauled roster for the 2025 season of the VALORANT Champions Tour and one of the three Filipino players signed by the organization along with Federico "Papi" Evangelista and Kelly "KellyS" Sedillo.

Midway through the offseason, the team looked for a stand-in, eventually taking in former Bleed Esports player Derrick "Deryon" Yee, after receiving news of the denial of patrickWHO's visa application.

In a message to ABS-CBN News, GE Coaches Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon and Donnie "Elevated" Chell expressed their thanksgiving after the long visa process, finally welcoming patrickWHO in South Korea.

"The visa process was extremely challenging but we thought patrickWHO was a special talent, worth waiting for," said head coach Juv3nile.

"The whole visa process was eye opening to me as someone with an American passport. It highlighted how many obstacles there can be for someone to chase a dream like playing professional esports. We are very happy to have Mark with us so we can showcase the team we built in the offseason finally," added Assistant coach Elevated.

The coaches also confirmed that Deryon is staying in the team as their sixth man.

"Deryeon is a great player and we are happy to continue with him as our 6th but patrickWHO earned his spot through extensive trials and is someone we believe highly in to help our chances to compete in the VCT Championship 2025 in Paris #GEwinning," Juv3nile said.

"We are also incredibly grateful to Derrick for his continued contributions and flexibility. With these six players we think that we can achieve some great things this season," Elevated added.

GE won their opening match against all-Filipino squad Team Secret in the VCT 2025 Pacific Kickoff, but eventually lost to Talon and DetonatioN FocusMe

With the arrival of patrickWHO, the number of active Filipino players in the tier 1 league rises to nine, following the five-stacked Team Secret, Papi and KellyS in GE, and the recent signing of Patrick "PatMen" Mendoza to Paper Rex
