MANILA, Philippines – Multiplayer online battle arena video game Honor of Kings is in full gear as it builds the hype for the upcoming S3 Invitational, set for this weekend until March 1.

As part of the buildup of the $300,000 A-tier tournament, the widely touted game got its "first-ever railway activation," designing an LRT-1 train into an "HOK train" which features players from Blacklist International, World Elevate, and Rough World Era.

The tournament also has an anthem, “Pag-Asa ng Pinas,” sang by local rappers Raymond Abracosa "Abra" and Marlon "Loonie" Peroramas. Its music video will be released tomorrow, February 20.

Loonie said it's an honor to partner with HOK as a gamer himself.

"Gamer din ako, I feel honored to be one of the representatives of HOK. Balita ko itong game talaga na 'to ang isa sa mga orig kaya nakakatuwa na ma-associate sa laro na 'to," said Loonie.

Teams from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brazil, Italy, Morocco, and South Korea will duke it out for the lion's share of the prize pool worth $100,000, while the first runner-up will take home $50,000.
