Talon Esports showed promise, securing at least a sixth-place finish in Serbian Dota 2 tournament Fissure Playground #1.

Carry player John Anthony "Natsumi" Vargas, veteran support Carlo "Kuku" Palad, and the rest of the Philippines-based Dota squad suffered elimination after losing at the hands of The International (TI) champion Team Spirit, 0-2, Saturday evening.

It was a gallant stand by the Kuku-led crew, as they showcased the potential of Southeast Asian (SEA) Dota on the international level.

Their run was an eye-candy to many, as Talon players managed to take down a world champion in Team Liquid earlier today.
