(UPDATED) Aurora Gaming's fate in the M6 World Championship is hanging in the balance after the Filipino team lost against NIP Flash Friday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Their Singaporean rivals, also boosted by Pinoy imports Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira and Jaymark “Hadess” Lazaro, imposed their will early, wiping out Aurora in a team fight for the turtle at around the seven-minute mark.

It was all NIP Flash in the match since then, picking off RORA members as they successfully took out Kenneth Carl "Yue" Tadeo, Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto, and Edward "Edward" Dapadap at the bottom lane 14 minutes in the match to push and clinch the victory.

"Basically, what we wanted to do is just play our game... But apparently, we still haven't found that game yet. We are not able to show it yet," coach Aniel "Master the Basics" Jiandani said after the game.

Renejay "Renejay" Barcarse, Jan Dominic Del "Domeng" Delmundo, and the rest of RORA need to win their next matches to move past the Swiss Stage.

Their next battles will be best-of-three series. One more defeat would mean elimination.

They already lost to Myanmar's Falcon Esports in Day 1.

"We just need to review what happened in those past two games and find out what really happened and what we need to improve [on]," said coach Master the Basics.
