PBA Media</div>MANILA -- San Miguel Beer will enter the PBA Season 50 Commissioner&#x27;s Cup playoffs with momentum.This, after the Beermen seized a 116-104 win over Phoenix in their final elimination round game, Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.It was San Miguel&#x27;s third win in a row, after beating Meralco and Terrafirma in their previous assignments. After building a slim 85-82 lead at the end of the third period, the Beermen exploded for 31 points in the final frame to take control of the game.Veteran guard Marcio Lassiter was at the forefront of the run, firing seven points while Jericho Cruz and Kris Rosales each had six during the pivotal period.Cruz finished with 20 points, leading the way for San Miguel&#x27;s reserves who combined for 54 markers.&quot;Sabi ni coach sa amin, yung second group ang pinaka-importante sa team kasi usually, strong start kami, &#x27;yung first five namin. &#x27;Yung job naming as the second group, to bring energy,&quot; he said. Bennie Boatwright kept San Miguel afloat in the first half and finished with 34 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.The Beermen wrapped up the elimination round with a 7-5 win-loss record, while Phoenix dropped to 6-6.
