PBA Media</div>MANILA -- Rain or Shine is off to a triumphant start in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner&#x27;s Cup, powering past guest team Macau 116-109 on Saturday night.Import Jaylen Johnson sparked the Elasto Painters to victory at the Ynares Center in Montalban, putting up 29 points, 24 rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block in nearly 40 minutes. Adrian Nocum added 19 points while Jhonard Clarito had 16 markers.Macau had forced a 107-all tie off two free throws by Chon Pong Lao when they were called for a technical foul.Gian Mamuyac shook off his early woes at the line to convert the go-ahead free throw, and the Elasto Painters maximized the bonus possession with Nocum completing a three-point play for a 111-107 advantage.Phoenix Shackelford had 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting while Damian Chongqui added 22 points, but the Black Knights dropped to 0-2 in the tournament.
