The Grand Slam-seeking, Chot Reyes-coached squad inched closer to sweeping this season's conference titles after it ousted the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 97-89, in their Philippine Cup semifinals Game 6 match on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Jordan Heading headed TNT's offense, putting up his Tropang 5G best 29 points with four assists and three assists, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser provided muscle with 17 markers, five boards, and two dimes, while Glenn Khobuntin impressed with a 16-point, 12-rebound game.

Calvin Oftana opened the run with an and-one play for an 83-80 lead, Ganuelas-Rosser extended it to five after a breakaway dunk, while Heading made it an eight-point lead after his triple at the 2:39 mark.

Caelan Tiongson looked to bring some life back to RoS as he his a jumper from the top of the circle to cut their deficit to six, but Heading and Ganuelas-Rosser hit consecutive baskets for a 94-82 lead, and eventually the win.
