This was according to FEU athletics director Mark Molina, who shared what has been going on with the UAAP Season 87 Rookie of the Year during the collegiate league's Valorant tournament at Gateway Mall 2 on Thursday,

"This was the time wala si coach Sean [Chambers]. Mga first week of March ata 'yon. So Veejay asked me to go to Pampanga and talk to his father because he cannot convince his father anymore, because the father is already telling him, 'you have to leave,'" Molina went on.
