The Gilas Pilipinas big man put up 14 points, four rebounds, and a rejection in Nagasaki Velca’s 89-72 victory vs. Ray Parks Jr. and Osaka Evessa on Saturday at the Ookini Arena Maishama.
Edu’s numbers helped Nagasaki return to the win column, their 25th in 59 games, and it was enough for them to stay in sixth place in the Western Division.
Parks Jr., for his part, was still solid with 12 markers and six boards despite Osaka absorbing their 30th loss in 59 games. They settled for No.4 in the Western Division after this contest.
Meanwhile, Wright finished with seven points and two steals in the Kawasaki Brave Thunders’ 84-82 win vs. San-en NeoPhoenix at the Kawasaki Todoroki Arena.
This was the 18th win of Wright and company in 59 games, but they remained at No.8 in the Central Division.
On the other hand, also on the losing end was Dwight Ramos Levanga Hokkaido.
Ramos scattered eight points, five rebounds, and four assists, but they fell short against the Ibaraki Robots, 82-73, at Hokkai Kita-yale.
This was their 39th loss in 59 games, and they now sit at No.5 in the Eastern Division.
