Photo from Japan B.League.Dwight Ramos, Ray Parks Jr., Matthew Wright, and AJ Edu fell short of scoring back-to-back victories as their respective squads suffered losses in the 2024-25 season of the Japan B.League on Sunday.

Ramos had 21 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two steals, but his effort went for naught as Levanga Hokkaido were dumped by the Saga Ballooners, 89-73, at the Saga Arena.

It was Levanga’s 33rd loss in 52 games, keeping the squad at No. 5 in the Eastern Division.

Parks Jr., for his part, had a quiet two-point, three-assist performance along with a rebound and a block in Osaka Evessa’s 82-47 loss to Alvark Tokyo at the Arena Tachikawa Tachihi.

It was their 25th loss in 52 games, though still enough to hold third place in the Western Division.

Meanwhile, Wright tallied three markers, two boards, two steals, and an assist in the Kawasaki Brave Thunders’ 85-68 setback to the Shimane Susanoo Magic at the Matsue City Gymnasium.

Kawasaki dropped to 15-37 with the loss and remained in eighth place in the Central Division.

Also falling further below .500 was Nagasaki Velca, who were defeated by Seahorses Mikawa, 83-78, at the Wing Arena Kariya.

The Gilas Pilipinas center managed just six points, a steal, and a block in the loss, which left Nagasaki in sixth place in the Western Division with a 23-29 record.

On the other hand, Roosevelt Adams and the Yamagata Wyverns found their way back into the win column on Sunday.

Adams finished with seven points, six rebounds, a steal, and an assist in Yamagata’s 90-63 victory over the Fukui Blowinds at the Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.

Yamagata improved to 22-36, good for fifth place in the Eastern Division.

Unfortunately, it was the opposite story for Geo Chiu and the Ehime Orange Vikings, as they were dominated once again by Kagoshima Rebnise, 89-69, at the Nishihara Shokai Arena.

It marked Ehime’s 53rd loss in 58 games, only good for No. 7 in the Western Division.

The former Ateneo de Manila University center chipped in eight points and four rebounds in the loss.
