The veteran Green Archer put up a 33-point, 26-rebound performance in their 95-92 win against the Blue Eagles in the 2025 AsiaBasket College Campus Tour at the Moro Lorenzo Gym.
Phillips helped La Salle erase an 88-76 deficit midway through the fourth quarter, while it was Kean Baclaan who hit the go-ahead jumper at the 1:12 mark to allow the Taft-based cagers to take the lead, 89-88.
Baclaan posted 13 markers and five dimes for the Topex Robinson-mentored team, while Mason Amos returned to the Katipunan-based institution with 11 points and four rebounds.
On the other hand, Ian Espinosa and Kyle Gamber led the Blue Eagles with 17 and 15 markers, respectively.
In the NCAA Season 100 Finals rematch, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde escaped defending champions Mapua University. 66-64.
Justine Sanchez led the Taft-based team with 17 points and six rebounds, and helping him was transferee Shawn Umali who finished with 10 markers and five boards.
For the Clint Escamis-less Cardinals, EJ Sapasap held the fort with 19 points and 17 rebounds.
Meanwhile, San Beda University bested Emilio Aguinaldo College in an NCAA affair, 68-60.
Jommel Puno led his squad with 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists as the Red Lions used a second-half surge to overcome the Generals, while Wilmar Oftana was the lone bright spot for EAC with 12 markers and eight boards but with five errors.
In a UAAP bout, National University dominated Far Eastern University, 88-69.
The Tamaraws led the contest 2-0, but it was all the Bulldogs from that point on as they distanced themselves by as much as 26-, 82-56, later in the game.
Returning Omar John led NU with 14 points and five rebounds, while Montell Shelton, Adam Nakai, and Liam Salangsang carried the load for FEU with 17, 12, and 11 markers, respectively.
