B.League: Ramos, Parks Jr., Pinoy imports handed defeats in Japan

Ramos finished with 16 points, two assists, two steals, a block, and a rebound, but these went for naught as Levanga Hokkaido was tripped by the Koshigaya Alphas, 82-75, at the Koshigaya City Stadium.

This was the 29th loss of Levanga in 46 games, and it resulted in them falling to fifth-place in the Eastern Division.

Parks Jr., for his part, posted 10 markers, six boards, a pair of dimes, and a block for Osaka Evessa, but they were dumped by the Shimane Susanoo Magic, 78-73, at the Tottori Prefectural Gymnasium.

Osaka is now at 23-23, fourth place in the Western Division.

Another Pinoy who was on the losing end was AJ Edu of Nagasaki Velca.

The Gilas Pilipinas big man delivered a 10-point, 10-rebound game with three steals and a block in their 83-70 loss to Utsunomiya Brex at the Happiness Arena.

Nagasaki went down to 21-25, enough for No.6 in the Western Division.

Roosevelt Adams, meanwhile, posted four markers, six boards, and a dime in the Yamagata Wyverns’ 81-72 defeat to the Aomori Wat’s at the Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.

Yamagata fell to 13 games below .500, 20-33, and they sit fifth in the Eastern Division.

Lastly, Geo Chiu had one of his better games for the Ehime Orange Vikings, but they lost to the Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka, 100-71, at the Matsumiya Community Center.

The Ateneo de Manila University product delivered 11 points, three rebounds, a steal, and an assist in the loss that sent them to 5-49, seventh place in the Western Division.
