SAN FRANCISCO -- Stephen Curry has been ruled out of the Golden State Warriors' upcoming road game against the Atlanta Hawks after suffering a pelvic contusion during the team's win over Toronto, the club said Friday.

The Warriors said Friday an MRI scan of Curry's injury confirmed an earlier diagnosis of a pelvic contusion, but indicated he had suffered no "structural damage."

The Warriors have enjoyed a resurgence since the acquisition of former Miami star Jimmy Butler in February, and have moved into sixth place in the Western Conference with a 41-29 record.
