ANTIPOLO (UPDATED) – Barangay Ginebra rallied in the fourth quarter to pull away from TNT, 95-78, in Game 4 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals, Friday at the Ynares Center here.

The Gin Kings have now tied the best-of-seven series at two-apiece.

Tim Cone's wards unleashed a 17-2 finishing kick from the 78-76 count, silencing the Tropang Giga for five minutes late in the match to secure the Antipolo triumph.

Rey Nambatac of TNT still drained a jump shot with more than two minutes left, but that was it — at least for this game — as Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and company failed to convert in the dying moments, losing all chances to spark any kind of run.

Justin Brownlee, who was questionable according to Cone just before this game, powered through his thumb injury, leading the Kings' firepower with 23 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.

Cone, in all honesty, thought they wouldn't be able to see more of Brownlee this series.

"What a warrior he is, to come out and play tonight. I didn't think he [Justin Brownlee] had any chance at all," Cone said.

Jamie Malonzo also had a game-high 24 points on an efficient 8-of-11 clip — six of those made from beyond the arc.

Japeth Aguilar was also spectacular for the Gin Kings, chipping in 18 markers and eight boards. Stephen Holt breached double-digit scoring with 12, while former MVP Scottie Thompson added nine points and nine rebounds.

TNT's Hollis-Jefferson, who was given Best Import nod moments before Game 4, produced an unusual 14-point output, including 12 rebounds.

Calvin Oftana, who was second in Best Player of the Conference race, conceding that plum to Arvin Tolentino, had a team-high 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one block.

The Kings will try to secure a pivotal 3-2 lead on Sunday, March 23, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
