MANILA -- PBA legend Asi Taulava and the NLEX Road Warriors conducted the latest edition of their "Dayo" grassroots basketball camp in Candon City, Ilocos Sur last weekend.

Over 70 young athletes, selected from inter-barangay basketball teams in Candon's District 2, took part in the two-day event.

"Bringing the Dayo program here is truly a special moment for me. I grew up in Ilocos Sur, and giving back to this community through basketball is something I’ve always dreamed of. We can’t wait to hold more camps here and continue inspiring young athletes," said NLEX Road Warriors governor Ronald Dulatre.

The Road Warriors also distributed tricycle curtains and stickers to tricycle drivers. Candon City Mayor Eric Singson also graced the event.

The weekend was highlighted by an exhibition game featuring Taulava, Dulatre, Kyles Lao, Philip Paniamogan, Jake Pascual, Emman Monfort, and Bong Galanza.
