SANTA MARIA, Bulacan – Sabrina Ionescu on Wednesday led the unveiling of Girls Got Game basketball courts at Sacred Heart Academy in Santa Maria, Bulacan.

This was the WNBA champion's culminating activity in the Philippine leg of her Asia tour for the Nike Sabrina 2 x TITAN "Make Space."

The New York Liberty superstar was greeted by loud cheers from the students as she arrived in the venue.

Some girls, who are aspiring to carve a path in women's basketball, took time read their message out loud for Ionescu.

"Thank you for inspiring female basketball players. You showed us that girls could also do what boys would do. Salamat, Sabrina!" a student shared as she turned emotional.

"Thank you for inspiring us to play basketball. We are so lucky to be here with you," another student read.

Ionescu also held a basketball clinic, aimed at helping the students build their fundamentals and inspire the next generation of women athletes.

The Olympic gold medalist is going to China for her next stop in her Asia Tour.
