MANILA — The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) on Friday bared Gilas Pilipinas' lineup for the 2nd Doha International Cup, set to take place from February 15 to 17.

The roster includes naturalized player Justin Brownlee, Korean Basketball League (KBL) and Japan B.League stars Dwight Ramos, Carl Tamayo, AJ Edu, and Kevin Quiambao, proud PBA standouts composed of eight-time MVP June Mar Fajardo, Chris Newsome, Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonzo, CJ Perez, Calvin Oftana, and Troy Rosario, and UAAP's Mason Amos.

"It's a real blessing, it's always a blessing to represent the country," said Edu in a video posted by the SBP.

Edu and Rosario will be a huge boost for Gilas as it bucks the absence of its star center Kai Sotto, who suffered a torn ACL during Koshigaya Alpha's game in the B.League.

The Qatar tournament will be a test for the men's national basketball team before it participates in the final window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers this month, where they will battle Chinese Taipei on February 20 and New Zealand this Feb. 23.

Coach Tim Cone previously said that this basketball tilt will also serve as an "integration" for Edu and Malonzo into the national squad.

Before this, Gilas underwent a two-day training camp in Laguna.
