The two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player tallied six points (2/5 3pts) with a rebound in 6:56 of gameplay in Goyang Sono’s 84-57 loss against the Seoul SK Knights on Sunday, Manila time, before he prematurely exited the clash.

Quiambao was attempting a three-pointer at the 7:42 mark of the second quarter when they were trailing, 30-29, but his right foot landed on the foot of his opponent before completely rolling it as it hit the floor.

The former De La Salle University superstar did not return to the game, while the Skygunners also fell by as much as 24, 81-47, later in the contest.

Meanwhile, former University of the Philippines main man JD Cagulangan impressed in his KBL debut on Saturday with the Suwon KT Sonicboom.

Despite their 78-63 defeat against fellow Filipino import Justin Gutang and the Seoul Samsung Thunders, the two-time UAAP champion posted a decent seven-point, nine-assist game with five steals and four rebounds.

His former College of Saint Benilde standout, for his part, had 11 markers, four dimes, and two steals in their win.

Another former UP Fighting Maroons star in Carl Tamayo, on the other hand, continued his stellar play in the KBL with the Changwon LG Sakers.

The Gilas Pilipinas forward, fresh from his 37-point, career-best outing last Thursday, fired 31 points with eight rebounds and two steals in their 86-82 victory over the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters.
