MANILA, Philippines – Ateneo de Manila University's Kacey dela Rosa has clinched back-to-back UAAP MVP awards after a dominant performance in the elimination round of the Season 87 women's basketball tournament.

Dela Rosa has led Ateneo to another Final Four appearance, helping the school secure an 8-6 win-loss card for a safe passage to the semis.

The Gilas Pilipinas center topped the statistical points, collecting a whopping 96.286 statistical points (SPs) built on 22.1 points, 16 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 3.7 blocks per game.

Also in the Mythical Five are University of Santo Tomas’ Kent Pastrana, who averaged 15.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per contest for 79.857 SPs; University of the Philippines’ Louna Ozar, who garnered 67.571 SPs from averages of 12 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 2.4 steals; another Ateneo player, Sarah Makanjuola, who posted 65.786 SPs from averages of 12.2 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per contest; and Angel Surada of National University, who had 8.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals per match, accumulating 62.0 SPs.

Junize Calago of Ateneo, who was fourth in the SPs race with 67.0, was disqualified from the selection after a suspension in the season.

NU’s Cielo Pagdulagan, meanwhile, was named Rookie of the Year after putting up numbers of 9.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per ballgame, listing  56.571 SPs.
