Reigning Olympic champions the United States prepared on Monday (August 5) to face Brazil in the quarter-finals of the Olympic men's basketball tournament.

The men's team has one of the strongest rosters in their history featuring the likes of 39-year-old LeBron James, Steph Curry, Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant -- a three-time gold medalist.

Durant could bag his fourth gold medal and along with Lebron James become one of the only American men to win four Olympic basketball medals. James currently has two golds and a bronze.

"It's just cool to see somebody that has accomplished obviously everything he can in this game and still have the joy and passion for it," recent NBA winner Jason Tatum told reporters on U.S. flag-bearer James.

The U.S. beat Puerto Rico 104-83 in Lille on Saturday (August 3) to seal top spot in Group C with three wins out of three.

Host France will face Canada in the last eight, while Serbia will take on Australia and Germany will meet Greece.
