Here's how you can meet volleyball superstar Ran Takahashi in Manila

MANILA – Japanese volleyball superstar Ran Takahashi will be visiting the Philippines for a partnership with an electronics and lighting company.

The Olympian will be holding a meet and greet with his Filipino fans on Friday, August 23, at SM Megamall, hosted by Akari Lighting.

Takahashi was recently named as its brand ambassador on Thursday.

Slots are limited, the company's post has advised, and are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

The star outside hitter visited the country during the Manila leg of the 2024 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League at MOA Arena in Pasay City.

Akari is also home to a Premier Volleyball League (PVL) team, which is currently leading the Reinforced Conference rankings at 7-0.
