The Soaring Falcons remain unbeaten in the tournament after a hard-fought 74-73 overtime win against the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde Blazers, while the Bulldogs pulled off an 85-79 triumph against fellow UAAP squad Far Eastern University.

The Soaring Falcons built a 66-61 lead early in the fourth quarter against the Blazers thanks to three-pointers from Matt Erolon, Emman Anabo, and Joshua Yerro. But they could not capitalize on St. Benilde's errors, and the Blazers unloaded a 7-0 run to force a 68-all deadlock and force overtime.
