June Mar Fajardo on pace to win 10th PBA BPC award

MANILA — After all the action that happened in the 2024 PBA Philippine Cup eliminations until the end of the semifinals, June Mar Fajardo is still standing tall above everyone else.

The 6-foot-10, seven-time league MVP has now emerged as the leading contender for  Best Player of the Conference honors after the nine-time winner put up 17.3 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.

These numbers helped San Miguel return to the Finals yet again, with the Beermen ousting the Rain Or Shine ElastoPainters in a semifinals sweep, and it also allowed him to get 43.12 statistical points (SPs).

Meanwhile, following him is Robert Bolick of the NLEX Road Warriors, as the do-it-all guard garnered 43.08 SPs after averaging a league-high 28.3 markers on top of 5.2 boards, and 6.5 dimes.

Up next is TerraFirma Dyip's prized rookie Stephen Holt with 40.8 SPs, and he earned this after scattering 21.08 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.4 steals for his squad who entered the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Another SMB star in CJ Perez sits at fourth with 39.18 SPs, with the Gilas Pilipinas ace averaging 21.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.3 steals for the Beermen, while completing the Top 5 is Barangay Ginebra San Miguel star Christian Standhardinger.

Standhardinger currently has 39.16 SPs after putting up 16.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 5.0 assists for the Gin Kings who absorbed a semis exit against the Meralco Bolts.
