MANILA – Filipina golfers Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina are set to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics, the National Golf Association of the Philippines announced.

This, after the duo reached the Olympic Golf Ranking (OGR)’s 60-player list which was finalized after the conclusion of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Pagdanganan, who is coming into the Paris Games as the No.35 ranked women’s player, is set to compete in her second-straight Olympic stint, while Ardina, who sits at No.55, will be making her debut in the Summer Games.

Filipina-Japanese Yuka Saso will also be competing in the Olympics and will be coming in as the No.6 player, but she will be representing the Land of the Rising Sun after she had to drop her Philippine citizenship in 2021.

On the other hand, the United States’ Nelly Korda and Lilia Vu will be coming into the games as the Nos.1 and 2 players, respectively, while China’s Ruoning Yin is at No.3.

Sitting at the fourth spot is France’s Celine Boutier, while coming in at No.5 is Australia’s Hannah Green.

Pagdanganan and Ardina bring the number of Philippine delegates to 20, after swimmers Kayla Sanchez and Harold Hatch and judoka Kiyomi Watanabe were announced as qualifiers earlier in the day by the Philippine Olympic Committee.

The other Filipino qualifies for Paris are weightlifters Vanessa Sarno, John Febuar Ceniza and Elreen Ando; boxers Aira Villegas, Hergie Bacyadan, Carlo Paalam, Nesthy Petecio and Eumir Felix Marcial; rower Joanie Delgaco; fencer Samantha Catantan; and gymnasts Carlos Yulo, Emma Malabuyo and Levi Ruivivar.
